cotton cord is soft as advertised. the Chair is comfortable, as advertised. the color is exactly what I wanted and it is a fantastic product, but the speed in which it arrived was absolutely amazing. the product is made in Mexico and delivered via FedEx, and it arrived at my door less than 36 hours from the point of purchase. the hammock was shipped by the seller within four hours of purchase, cleared through customs in Miami during the night and it was delivered to Fort Campbell, KY the next afternoon. the hammock Chair is really, really comfortable with thick ropes do not bite at exposed skin lots of hammocks and a six foot two and two hundred pounds I still have a lot of hammock left when I put my feet and lean my head back. the sling is generous, and I don't feel trapped on the sides as in a traditional rocking chair. single point loop at the top is perfect since the Chair can be spun to face any direction no matter where my eighteen months running and playing in the yard.
